Fresh Farm Produce
FFP supplies two tropical fruits; Mangoes and pineapples. We offer a variety of mangoes and pineapples to satisfy every taste bud. Working in partnership with our out-grower suppliers whose produce complement fruits from our own plantations, we give our customers unique flavor experiences from the tropics.
Mangoes
Our mangoes are grown purposely for the export market. We have highly qualified extension officers and control inspectors that ensure strict quality and logistic controls at our farms. We also ensure that our out-grower partners follow our strict quality standards. Our mission is to supply our customers with quality mangoes at the right price and at the right time.
Pineapples
Our Pineapples from Ghana are produced and exported throughout the whole year. We supply the world with our range of premium quality varieties that satisfies the consumer. Quality of our Ghana pineapples is ensured by access to necessary post-harvest cold chain infrastructure and the combination of stringent standards of hygiene and process controls.
FRESH MANGOES
The humble mango is a tropical fruit which is a member of the cashew family. It is loaded with several antioxidants in its delicious golden pulp. Antioxidants play an essential role in protecting cells from harmful free radicals. Snacking on antioxidant-rich foods like mangoes is a simple way to support a healthy lifestyle.
FRESH PINEAPPLES
Pineapple, a juicy tropical fruit with a unique aroma and sweetness has gained much prominence for its health-promoting properties. Among the tropical fruits, pineapple is a nutrition superstar. Pineapple was named as one of the healthiest fruits in the world and for some seriously important reasons. Fresh pineapple is loaded with many essential vitamins and minerals and dietary fiber.

Fresh Mangoes

Mango is globally considered as one of the finest fruits and important crop in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Known as the king of fruits, mango is one of the most popular, nutritionally rich fruits with unique flavor, fragrance and taste.
Ghana has been identified as one of the countries with the comparative advantage of having a bimodal mango production system. Mangoes in Ghana are produced and exported in two seasons annually. The main season runs through April and August and the minor season from November to January.

SOURCING
We source our mangoes from small-holder growers belonging to a network of farming communities in the Northern and Eastern Regions of Ghana and export them worldwide. Between FFP and some 12 small-holder growers, we have some 51,000 mango trees under cultivation in over 345 hectares in the Kintampo area in Ghana. We have progressively acquired land and expanded plantings at our Bono East farms in Kintampo in recent years as the tropical north is a significant growing region ideally suited to mango production. These orchards will reach full production capacity by 2025.
Most of our large and small-holder growers have attained certification under GlobalGAP or certified under Option 2 of the GlobalGAP Standard
Fresh Pineapples
Pineapple is found in almost all the tropical and subtropical areas of the world. FFP is a major supplier and exporter of high-quality fresh pineapple fruit from Ghana. We supply to major … houses. Our pineapples are consumed worldwide due to its rich taste, flavor, and freshness.

FFP pineapples have a sweet and succulent golden flesh with low acidity and a mild, pleasant aroma. Grown in the sunny tropical fields in Ghana, our pineapples receive the right amount of sunshine and pure tropical rain to bring them to their peak flavor. They are then hand-picked and taste-tested in the field at the peak of ripeness and carefully protected for transportation and onward shipment to our customers.
We have the necessary post-harvest infrastructure in place to ensure that pineapples we export to our customers arrive as fresh as possible.
Our traceability protocol ensures that every product and ingredient we supply can be located and traced at all times. We manage supply risks and ensure quality and timely delivery to our customers. our service levels and competitive pricing means we are the first choice for your volume products needs.
SOURCING
We source our pineapples from small-holder growers belonging to a network of growers in the Central Region of Ghana. The keys to our competitiveness and success are “direct sourcing” and the presence of specialized and highly qualified extension officers and control inspectors that ensure strict quality and logistic controls at the farms.

HARVESTING AND FRUIT HANDLING
Mangoes are highly pressure and impact sensitive and appropriate care is therefore taken during harvesting and cargo handling. Quality is ensured by access to necessary post-harvest infrastructure and a combination of stringent standards of hygiene and process controls at our farms and farm pack houses.

Product Testing and Certification Before Shipment
Our in-house Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) initiatives play key roles in guaranteeing the safety and quality of our food ingredients.
We undertake quality inspection at the farms and farm packhouses prior to shipment.
We can provide a certificate of origin.
LABELLING
Our labelling ensures traceability of individual batches and include the following:
